My friends' new boat

My buddy just picked up his new (2006) Sea Ray today. Drove from NJ to Ohio to get it. I was lucky enough to be driving through Toledo, Ohio and I got to stop and look it over before he even saw it! I took 3 pages of notes on it to report back to him. He liked it enough, and he drove out to get it today.

Actually, it's a 240 SD, and I will be directing him to this site. His present boat is a 18' Wellcraft Bow rider, so quite a jump up for him. He's got a 2 year old girl at home and a boy on the way, so he wanted a cabin for them and to get out of the weather when needed.

A 24 is a great starter w/ little ones. Easy on fuel and easy to trailer. She looks to be in great shape. Tell him good luck from the crew. You are a good friend to have done him such a favor.

Beautiful boat! I purchased the same year/color on a trailer in a 260DA w/ arch and have had a great experience thus far. I am sure he will have a blast.

It is a nice boat, 160 hours, still has the paper stickers on the outdrive, looks like it never sat in the water. BIII is SHINY!!

It looks clean, with an especially nice aluminum trailer. He must be a happy man moving up from that old well craft.
