See how I was treated:
Thanks for sharing! Sorry for your problems.
That's unfortunate. I've had no issues at all with my 340 Console Deluxe hypalon model over three seasons.
Did you have anything in writing indicating they were sending a check? Did they give any reason why they changed their mind?
Good luck, MM
I am doing another post with all their promises
Post Number 2: Correspondences
I will look forward to updates on this process.
Sorry to hear about this Wet. I have been considering Walker Bay and other center consoles based on their beam. Looks like Walker Bay is out for me.
Amazing documentation of incompetence.
I'm sorry to hear of the headache you had to deal with thus far. I know how it feels & it's not good. I hope you tear 'em a new one in court!! Best of luck with the case.
I sold my Walker Bay but it was the hard shell. It could not hold up to Weaver Davits designed for the hard shell though they claimed it would and lasted for one week before I had major repairs to do.
They told me it was not designed to be transported on the swim step while underway??? Huh?
I'm glad I sold it to a private party. I will not deal with them either.
My God, Man!!!
That is the most ridiculous thread of emails I have ever seen.
So let me get this straight.... your not supposed to transport a Walker Bay boat or, as John was told, get it wet or put it in the Sun. Wow! Can you at least fill it with ice and use it as a cooler? I won't be buying one of these either.
I will do anything for material for my blog....slow winter

Good for you. Too bad it had to come to public humiliation to get them to come to their senses.

What about pain and suffering? What about emotional distress and reimbursement for your time and anguish?
Seriously, Happy for you--they should have done this in the first place. Like you mentioned in your Blog, "This economy." In any economy it is all about Customer Service.
If I brought mental distress and anguish up I would be committed....i am on that fine line as it is
[I just got off the phone with the President of Walker Bay Boats, Mr. Stefano Rista. We had a nice conversation and he was a gentleman in how he handled this issue over the phone. We both wanted to move on and this was being counter productive for both of us. We are both in business to make money (in a tough economy) and keep our customers happy. Mr. Rista offered the full cash refund of $1,380.19 for what I paid for a new tender, which I appreciated.
Until the Lines are Untied Again! ]
You've been down this road before. Talk is cheap! Let's save the champagne popping for when the check clears!!
I hope they really mean it this time!! Good luck this time around.
Do you think the blog had an impact in the decision? :smt038
