Well don't use it to point you in the right direction or you won't get anywhere... And technically your boat wears it's anchor to port .. Nobody here understands left ...except me I guess

I only noticed that we bent ours during our first season. I'm not happy about it but I can be sure that it was done during one of our stays out while in a storm. There aren't better times so an anchor is a small price.
