Multiple email notices about subscribed forum

Last week I subscribed to the Mid-Atlantic Forum on a weekly basis. Since then I've been getting about 10 emails a day, all saying the same thing (this or that is a new thread - which it's not - and this or that thread has been updated - which it hasn't)?

I imagin one reason could be spam threads/posts where some spammer posts a new thread or replies to one and the moderators see it and delete it so by the time you look it looks like there is not a new thread or new post.

I found the email notices overwhelmed my in box and turned off that function. Now I just check usercp when I log on...about every 5 minutes throughout the day:smt021:lol:
