Sold the 340 - will miss her greatly.

Looking for something bigger with a sedan bridge, fly bridge, sport bridge 38-40. I welcome any suggestions - Sea Ray or other.

Thanks!

What’s your price range, and do you prefer diesels with shafts, or do you want pods?

Depending on your price range and where you boat, a 400, 420, or 44DB is a fine choice IMHO. Room, visibility from the salon and the bridge, storage space...of course I am partial.

Check out a bunch before you make your decision.

Thank for the advice. I am on Long Island and it is shallow. I have to be very concerned with the draft of the boat as we run in 4 feet of water...not kidding. So thinking 38-40' is the right size and will give us the space we are looking for.

Year range would be 2004 - 2009 which seems to fit our price range. Diesels aren't needed.

Thanks again!

With just 4 feet of water, you’re cutting it awful short with most 38-40 boats.

Of course it’s personal preference, but having less than a foots clearance is something to consider.

The Sea Ray Sedan Bridges are gorgeous boats and although shallow on the south shore of Long Island, you just need to do what you did with your 340 and stay between the buoys and you’ll be fine.
I don’t think those boats draw that much more water than your 340 did.
The 2004 420 Sedan Bridge is beautiful.
You may want to seriously consider diesels on a boat that size though. You’ll pay more for it up front, but you’ll save a lot in fuel and get the additional diesel boat money back at resale. Plus it may be tough to sell a gas boat of that size around here when it comes time to move on.
