My job requires chasing after storms. I will likely be getting a lot of work in Dorian disaster areas of the Bahamas. There is no regular transport and no place to stay. My boat is a 330DA. Its a LKN boat. B3's. Fresh bottom and outdrive paint this summer.

I have hauled this boat three times to Charleston for stays of 4-6 weeks. That was before bottom paint though I did some touch up. The bottom faired well but the outdrives got covered with barnacles.

Assuming I do this, besides changing the anodes and painting the running gear, any thoughts? LKN to the Bahamas is a big chang!

Can you get fuel? And dockage? My family’s docks on Man o War were wrecked and they were in the Lee side of the island.

your boat will be fine crossing and staying over there - brush a couple of thick coats of trilux 33 on the drives - in addition to the concern above, make sure you are able to properly secure the boat - a lot of Hatians looking to get out of the bahamas right now

I heard something on the news yesterday about another tropical storm that's brewing and heading their way. Just FYI.
