Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. Last year sometime there was a video of this carrier moving a Sunseeker to LOTO. This time it's a Sea Ray. Enjoy!

I'm surprised we didn't see the cop that must have been forcing the oncoming traffic to the side of the road when the L650 took the opposing lanes. Ya gotta know someone was running interference for the load. Drivers are too stupid to do that on their own.

Great video, Thanks for sharing.

I thought that as well. Given the size, I'd imagine that trip had 3 and maybe 4 police cars full time. I couldn't imagine the costs to do this..... Especially for an inland lake.

Very Cool! I agree with GFC, there had to be some interference running out of sight.

Very cool video. The driver posts some of the videos occasionally on his Facebook page. As I understand from the MM salesman, the boat was brought up the Mississippi river and then up the Arkansas river to Muskogee OK. It was ha hauled out there and trucked to Lake of the Ozarks. The guy traded in a 60DA. There was also a 650 brought up the same route, and put on Grand Lake earlier this year.

I find interesting to see a boat this size on an inland lake. I know LOTO is big, grew up around the lake, but if I was buying a 650 I'd want to take it far and wide.

When my boat was delivered from Detroit to Portland, OR it was supposed to be a straight shot across the country on the freeways, done with one pilot car in front. Due to road construction most of the way across the country the load was detoured onto 2-lane and 4-lane highways where pilot cars are required front and rear. I have no idea what that extra expense amounted to because it was all absorbed by the load broker and/or the driver. My contract with the load broker was for them to pick up the boat on "X" date in Detroit and deliver it to Portland.

The detours and delays caused an extra 7 days in the delivery schedule.

I agree. I've never understood the reasoning behind putting a 50+ft ocean-capable yacht on an inland lake. I'll bet the engines never see more than 20hrs/yr.

It's a floating condo. And the nicest and biggest around. What's so hard to understand?

I think the owner who bought this boat, also has a home and Azimut in Florida( I think a MM salesman told me) LOTO has a lot of 40+ foot boats.

Why ego? If a guy likes a boat and wants to have it close to home and perhaps business, why is he so different than a guy lives near the coast and wants the same boat. It's all relative. I say more power to him.

At first I read this as traded in a 260DA.
