Left St Simons Island on Monday afternoon, rough conditions, stayed inside for the afternoon and made it to St. Augustine for the first night. http://

On second day, we wanted to make it to Cocoa Village Marina, but came up short at Titusville. We again stayed inside as offshore conditions were choppy and it was very windy. Not super impressed with Titusville. http://

On our third day, Weds, we again stayed inside, and made it to North Palm Beach. Loved the NPB Marina, greeted with a bottle of wine and one of the nicest dock masters we've come across. Walked across to Seasons 52 for dinner overlooking ICW. http://

On our forth day we continued to stay inside as it was just really nice and relaxing. Gorgeous views and houses all the way to Ft. Lauderdale. We stopped early afternoon at Bahia Mar so we could go over to the beach and walk around Ft Lauderdale. We've been to this marina before and have loved it, but it's pricey, at about $150 a night for a 37' boat.

so excited that it will now be sitting in water all the time. the guys there are gonna get it looking like new again for me.

Thanks for the update and pics...enjoy Miami.

Nice trip! Thanks for the pics! What is the "Haulover marine center"?

Did you walk to the little town area in Titusville?

Haulover Marine Center is a new state of the art facility where they can rack 60,000lb boats. it is at the north end of Miami Beach, right next to the famous Haulover Sandbar. We moved boat to Miami Beach, cause we love it there. Been our ultimate plan all along, glad we could make it happen ahead of schedule. And ZZ13, maybe we didn't get to the right parts of Titusville. We didn't get to venture too far from the marina. Our plans now are to go down about every 5-6 weeks and spend a week on the boat. Next month we are just gonna to dock in in Miami Beach Marina for the week, and then in April, gonna go down and explore Key Largo. We have only passed thru that key heading more south so far. If any of you guys have recommendations for Key Largo, please let me know!

hey Ritchie email me if you want some info on key largo....we stay at marina del mar on the ocean side......really cool place with a great dockmaster and the run of three resorts/pools.....easy to day trip to the reef sites......i also heard shaner corp just opened a boutique marina/spa on the gulf side.....some people like the ocean reef club too, but you need to be "invited" by expreesing interest in buying there....

You passed right in front of my apartment!! The Point in Aventura, Florida.
Nice boat and nice crew too.

Enjoy lovely Miami
