Looking at installing a TV in out 1986 250. The only place that looks reasonable is the starboard side v-berth wall to the head. There is a small ledge there. I grabbed out smallest TV we have here (22") and it is slightly too tall with the stand. One thought is to do away with the stand and use a wall mount? The wall seems to be 1/2" plywood covered in whatever. The bathroom side of the wall has a small mirror. I'm thinking if I remove the mirror and install countersunk screws then I could reinstall the mirror over top of the screw heads. Worst case I could install a spacer to leave a small gap behind the mirror. The other issue is that the mirror probably won't cover 2 of the screws. I would either have to deal with it or try to hide them somehow? Maybe a small picture or toothbrush holder or something? Larger mirror?

Has anyone mounted a wall mount there? How sturdy was it? I would think it would be ok?

I looked up some mounts for that small of a TV and I think they would be small enough that the mirror would cover all screw heads. Maybe use fender washers to help distribute the load on the screw heads.

Now I'm thinking if I go with a tilt mount I might be able to go a little bigger? I have about 12" height and 21 width to work with. I could go slightly wider but there is a light there. So 19" is probably about the biggest I can go. Found one at Wally world that has a built in DVD player and all the connections go in from the side so no clearance issues on the rear. Some off brand but for $90 what the heck...lol
