Well I took my mom out for the first time on my new Sea Ray for Mother's Day.

I started out at 2:30pm from Stillwater the day was calm and the weather was nice. I had Elvis playing on the CD player her favorite and the temp actually exceeded the highs forecasted. High temp was supposed to be 59 partly cloudy the day ended up being 67 no wind and few clouds.

We headed to Hudson WI to beach the boat and walk four blocks to San Pedro restaurant for lunch. It is a Caribbean restaurant that has pretty good food.

After a nice lunch headed back to one of islands in area beached the boat had some champagne and watched all the pleasure boats cruise by in the channel.

I made the mistake of letting drive and I couldn’t get her off the wheel…

Mom said it was the best Mother’s Day she has ever had…

That is good, mother was happy, that is what it is all about.

Very cool. Yesterday's weather sure did turn out pretty nice.

Well you know what the weather has been like lately so it was a nice break on a good day...:smt038

This coming weekend looks pretty good and that Monday might hit 80 so I'm taking that day off and heading up the river into St Paul for the first time

We were on the Croix yesterday as well! Cruised up from Afton to Stillwater then anchored south of the Hi Line Beach for awhile. Was a great Mother's Day for my wife (and ME too!).

If you saw a black 320, that was probably us. Not too many boats out yesterday, I was surprised.

I did see a black Sea Ray go by when I was on Beer Can Island around 3:30 or 4. I think my comment was that's my next one

We were heading south through the Hudson naroows at about 4 or so. At the rate we change boats, ours will probably be for sale next year! Actually, we LOVE our 320 and will probably have it a few more years. We got it a year ago and have no real complaints. Great boat for the river. Our family of 4 stay on it at least one night every weekend in the summer. Would be a perfect 2 person boat.

Jabs,

Good to hear your mom liked her m-day present!

Nice to hear there's other St Croix CSR members out there. Any plans for a St. Croix CSR get together (formal or otherwise)?
