Month Long Cruise through New England - Four Suns

I'm disappointed, haven't seen anything I would have had to censor (I think that is the word Frank and Dom are using) yet :smt043J

Just joking Gary, very good read, kept checking it yesterday looking for an update. Keep up the great blog!!!

Yeah, it's good stuff for sure. As I commented on the Blog, I can't imagine being in only 30' of water and 4' swells trying to run at speed in a 48' boat.

That's amazing

You are spoiled with deep water out your way. On the Chesapeake I would only start to sweat if the depth got down to about 15'.

In the Barnegat Bay 15' is a 'hole'.....I'd through out the anchor and start fishing if I found 15'

I just updated the blog.

Yes... 30 feet is "deep" in the Chesapeake Bay and mid-atlantic ocean until you get out near the continental shelf. when there is 70 feet of muck there. Up here, it seems to be a different story... what's with all these rocks?

Susie must be proofreading your blog. The post are just too nice:lol::smt043:lol:.

water looks fantastic. man i'm jealous. I hate work. work sucks.

I was thinking the same thing, just figured he was tired from the long hauls and throwing up.

I should clarify that I would start sweating in 15' of water in a boat with a 4' draft and 4' swells. Otherwise the part of the bay I typically boat on 15' is the typical depth.

Is there a reason why most of you guys aren't posting your comments directly on Gary's blog? I mean, at least I think, that's one of the reasons that he opened it up to comments....that way he can save them all for posterity....you know...so later in life when he's older than Frank H he can just sit back and read them all in one place.

Just curious....don't mean anything by it....

I'm afraid he'll censor my comments on his blog. But it's a good point, I'll post some things over there.

Well... I only have deleted two posts and they were in the "Hey your a jackass" category. If you want to call me names, do it here on CSR so I can fight back. ;-)

I have been on the bridge a lot (alone) the past few days so now that we "have arrived", I will probably have more writing material. For example, look at this dude next to me in a Sea Ray and how he used duct tape to put his broken 8' VHF antenna back together:

Nice.... The freekin' slip here on Martha's Vineyard costs more per day than a new antenna.

We are heading over to Nantucket this morning. I just put a quick update on the blog... The shark tournament is here on Martha's Vineyard and there are so many dumbass fishing boats it's right out of the scenes from Jaws with all the boats trying catch a shark... There is a guy that even has a rod holder mounted on a jet ski.

What do you call a guy who catches a shark while fishing from a jet ski?

Dinner.

Best regards,
Frank

We've arrived in Nantucket...

I'll admit I don't want to drive a boat for awhile.

yeah, I was going to mention that you are starting to get boat butt.
