Month Long Chesapeake Bay Cruise on 480 DB/Four Suns

Very cool. What a way to remember a trip.

What kind of camera do you use?

That is Excellent Gary!
I might even buy one. Do you get royalties?

:smt043

I didn't even know anyone else could buy one...

Yeah... My new career is creating travel books with my family and documenting them with dark sarcastic humor... big demand for that I'm sure. Sort of like National Lampoon's "Vacation" series but with a twist of reality show mixed in and in print form.

Gary~ that is very nice and reminds me to do a better job journalling as opposed to just taking pictures. Very Nice~!

Those of you that followed this story with the stupid dog that 1) got run over by a truck and 2) proceeded to eat and chew everything on the trip... tonight I got home and he got into my home office sometime this afternnon and my wife just came in and said he ate a brand new box of paper clips (100 count) from Staples... nice... well... he only ate 96 as there are 4 left.

Gary,
As a fellow golden retriever owner, I believe you have stumbled upon a higly profitable new invention: the magnetic poop scooper. When those paperclips pass on through, what better way to do your dog owner duty? Think of the possibilities!

your pal,
Skip

Those of you that really have nothing to do with your time, I've compiled this material into a picture book and tried to correct some of the major grammer and spelling issues. Anyway.... Here it is.. My copy gets here next week.

Cool  Since you are starting a new carer I stumbled upon
this www.greatloopcruising.com
and
this http://www.tnrivercruising.com/

What to expect Cruising the Great Loop and the other one is What to expect Cruising the Tennessee River.

Over 2,000 photos will show what awaits you. Each photo is captioned, narrated and associated with a map. on the great loop cd. Not sure how many on the TN river one, but it also comes with Fred Myers book in PDF format about the TN river.

Did you get the "EASY" button with those? That might help you get them back

Thanks Greg... You should join us at BIH this year..

The formatting is all screwed up on this thread now for some reason. Wesley? You been editing my thread again? I know you removed all the curse words but now there appears to be some demonic characters in there....

I guess I better be careful or the whole thread might get deleted... It was a big thread and as they say: "Bigger is NOT always Better". :smt043

Gary - I didn't have time to read this whole thread but noticed you were headed for Havre de Grace...Why in the world would you want to go there?? :smt021

Did you find anything there? I've been boating around there for years and never thought of it as a vacation destination.

sure... read the entries around Havre de Grace.... My idea of "vacation" may be different than yours. The whole month was the vacation and everyplace was special for us. In fact, my son asked me at dinner tonight if we could go back to Havre de Grace this year because of the memories he still had of the fresh food we picked up at the Farmers Market there and pigged out... Best corn I've ever had. My children talk about the trip every week and the one "resort" we went to (Cambridge) was probably the low point of the trip... IMO.

Everyplace is an experience... Heck.. I wonder why people come to Williamsburg... small town with a bunch of old farts that drive 20 mph everywhere.

That's cool...it just doesn't rank for me since my Gothic lifestyle doesn't fit in there. The last time me and my friend Sourcey were there they had shut down all of the Goth clubs.

Boston to New York.... Taking the boat up to Boston then the family will come up via a rental car/van and drop it off and we'll move the boat south hitting points in between. End in New York and do a play and few other things...

This is subject to change depending on my foot injury issue...
