Big difference from our 2000 310Da. to our now 2001 340da. once I opened up the 340 all the wiring was nice and neat the 310 looked like a rat's nest.
Is that equivalent to a simrad 12. I installed a simrad go 9xse on my 340 but was curious whether the 12 would have worked.
I went with the 1042xsv this time because I wanted hard button controls. My 310Da. had a 943xsv and on the bumpy days on Lake Erie the touch screen was a little harder to control.
