Model number

I'm looking for the model number on my 4.3 V6 OMC.

The research I've done says it should be on what looks like thermostat housing. There's nothing there, nor on the valve covers.

Is there another place to look, or if the ID plate is gone, is there a way to figure it out?
It should be one of these.

I can see where the plate was on the thermostat housing but it's not there. Is there a secondary location?
