Mirror smashed when the adhesive failed and it fell off of the frame. Looks like it was glued flush to a backing with gold trim around the outer edge which was just decorative, no mechanical holding as far as I can tell. Roughly 2' X 2' with rounded corners. I find references to mirrors on the door, but this one was against the wall opposite the head. I can't seem to find a direct replacement anywhere and was wondering if anyone encountered this and what they ended up doing?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Definitely one route, I'll make a template for an exact fit. Do you recall what type of adhesive you used?

I hope not, can't afford 7 years of bad luck!

Ours just fell and cracked. Can the whole wood base be removed since there are already mirrors on the cabinets?

The mirrors in our master head were starting to fail around the edges. I went into a glass shop with pictures & dimensions and had two made a couple of inches larger than the originals. They sold me the glass to glass adhesive, put them in place and blue taped them overnight.
