Hi - I'm new to the site as we don't officially own a Sea Ray yet. But if all goes well, we will have a 340 within the week. This site and everyone's knowledge has been invaluable to us (thank you!). I've read all 115 pages of the Official 340 Dancer thread.

Anyways... we need to transport the boat from Walker MN to Stillwater MN. We've tried Afton Transport and it's too far for them. Tried Cross County and their next available date is a month out. I've signed up for uship but I'm wondering if anyone here has any great recommendations for transporting in Minnesota.

Thanks in advance for your help! Hopefully soon I can post a picture to because I've learned that if I don't, it never happened.

Thanks so much! I’m afraid the national guys might not be very interested in a 200 mile trip but we will definitely give him a call!

In case this helps another Minnesotan in the future - we found someone we highly recommend! Mike at Lake Minnetonka Complete Marine Services.

Mike fit our 4 hour haul in within days. He was extremely knowledgeable and handled all obstacles with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude. He put us novices at ease. And man does this guy work hard! I’m not sure he ever stops to sleep. Highly recommend!

I know this thread is old but I just discovered it. I’m over on the Miss. in Inver Grove Heights.

Hopefully I’ll be able to go on a cruise or two up the St.Croix this summer. I wasn’t able to do much last year as it was late summer and I ran into a bunch of issues that I just didn’t feel comfortable out on the active water.

Unless we get some heavy snow or lots of rain soon it’s going to be dicey in the rivers. The Miss is very low now. I’m going down to the marina tomorrow to see if there is ice in the slips. I also just got an adaptor plug to connect my portable gen to the shore power. I’m going to try and get a four hour fast charge on the batteries.
