1980 sea ray Seville 20 ft. Either the 207 or 200?

1980 Sea Ray Seville 207. Had it on the water last week for the first time. I have a lot to learn.

Still researching to find out what exactly I have but the information I received when I purchased was that it is a 1980 sea ray 207?

Not, welcome to CSR. One suggestion after looking at all of your photos would be to pick up a pair of transom tie downs to hold the boat onto the trailer and ditch those straps you're using that are attached to the bow rail.

+1 on taking boater safety classes. I always recommend that people take the class in a classroom setting rather than online. It's amazing how much you will learn from the exchange of information with others in the class.

Thank you. I have been researching boater safety lessons. I am looking into something that may fit my schedule as I am only home typically one or two days every couple of weeks. I also am not sure if I understand the what you mean about the straps in the “bow” but I have a strap that is only holding a tube down in the “bow” of the boat which you may not be able to tell. Thanks again

Not, thanks for asking. What I was suggesting was a pair of straps to put at the transom of the boat. They look like this....

and go between the tie down points on the transom down to the trailer. They keep the boat secured to the trailer and keep it from bouncing around (or off the trailer!) when you hit bumps while going down the road.

You can find them on Amazon for about $25 a pair.
