Middle bass island

First time over night at Middle Bass island .The state marine was really nice and had a good dinner at JF. Walleyes out back with Max our dog. Went through a windy stormy night but was well protected and the wind didn't have an effect on the boat.Admiral Ruth told me there was a heck of a storm all night that I slept through.The only down side no fault of anyone is do to all the heavy algae the marina smelled like a pig farm.

MBI is great and I have misplaced a ton of brain cells at JF Walleyes but yes, the algae is way out of hand but supposedly the fixes will start slowly working their way in.

On a lighter note, on the message boards on the local paper, there was a very serious discussion going on and then someone piped in with...



I don't always drink muck. But when I do, I prefer Lake Erie

Was there over Labor day they had some hard rains there and the marina was all cleared up.
