Mid Life First Boat

After years of wanting and then not wanting a boat I broke down and picked up a 1987 Sea Ray 250 with 1000hrs and trailer. I have already fixed the trim tabs, added a vhf radio, gps, and sanded and refinished all the exterior wood. She is in the water and moves well so I am happy. I have a ton of questions but will save those for the tech forum.

I fly radio control planes, coach kids soccer, and race slot cars with my 4yr old son.

Welcome to the group! I also like to fly RC planes and would love to race a slot car but my wife assures me we don't need any other hobbies!

thanks for the welcome. slot cars cover the rainy and heavy wind days when I cant fly. I used my 4yr old son as my excuse. we run carrera digital 124 and 132 cars on a 9x15 table.
