So, I admit I am not an electronics buff. I installed my new C 97 and for the life of me, could not figure out how to put the D@#$ SD card in a slot that it would not fit. But, the Navionics person I bought it from swore it was the correct card for the C 97. I brought it back home and was fooling around with it and my card reader when something moved. Aha, the micro card slides into the SD card. My question is when I downloaded the software from the "freshest data" site at Navionics, does it automatically populate the micro card?

Sorry for the computer illiterate dumb question.

Thanks for your help

The data goes directly to the microSD card. The part the micro card goes into is just an adaptor. It's not a standard SD card. It won't work without the microSD card. N

Hope that helps.
Back on your C97 you just put the microSD card into the unit. I don't believe you need the adaptor.
