Hi,
We are coming up to Michigan City Ind. to look for a slip for our 268 Sea Ray. Would like electric so if we don't go out we can just relax on the boat. We are new to this area and don't know much about best/worst places to put our boat.
Prices seem to be about the same as far as we can see online.
Does anyone have any suggestions good or bad about any place?
Thanks

I feel like there are only a few options -- the municipal marina (Washington Park) and then further down the river, B&E Marine (a SR dealer) has a row of slips on the (north?) side of the river. I cannot really comment much on the experience as I've only been there a few times for cheap gas.

Have you considered New Buffalo? It's about 7 miles north, and the town offers a lot more in terms of dining and entertainment (it's also very walkable from the marina area).

We have been in Washington Park Marina for four seasons now. The facilities and people are very nice. There are multiple activities throughout the summer and the proximity to the beach is excellent. Slips have electricity, city water and wireless internet at no additional charge. There are 8 different piers that accommodate boats from small runabouts to over 60 footers. Each pier seems to have its own personality and some people have changed piers because they did not like the particular "environment" but were able to find someplace they were comfortable. We have looked at many places from Kentucky to all around the south end of Lake Michigan and we plan to stay here as long as we are boating. If you have other specific questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for everyones help on this. I called B&E Marine and they only have 40' slips left. They did seem very nice.
I will see what New Buffalo has to offer as docks and price
It sounds like
Washington Park Marina would be a good place also.
We will check all these out today and see what they have open.
Thanks again for the information
