Well just got back from my first Miami Boat Show. I have mixed feelings about it. Mostly Bad, When compared to the Palm Beach Boat show i went to last March. First there is no easy parking, 2nd the layout is terrible and does not corespond to thier maps, 3rd there is no formal information booth, so if you need help you have to ask an attendant who didnot know squat. There was no rim nor reason how the boats or exhibits were set up. So there is alot of looking, asking etc... to find what you are looking for. The Collins display of boats was good but to get back and forth to the convention center you needed a little of Indiana Jones in you. THERE DIDNT APPEAR TO BE DESIGNATED SHUTTLE'S TO GO BACK AND FORTH. Iam glad i did it once but unless Sea Ray has some shin dig in the future This will be my last time to this one. Looking forward to Palm Beach. JC

You cant just go to the miami boatshow, you have to plan it. even parking. unless you get there very early you wont find parking anywhere close. we park at the last beach parking lot very north on collins. if you drive downtown you will get very frustrated. then we take the shuttle to the brokerage. there by the tents which is info also you can board a bus to the convention center and from there to strictly sailing if you want. due to the many venues about the city, you cant see it all in 1 day, its like disney world you need a few days. if I feel like taking a cab I walk over the bridge by searay to the cvs and get picked up over there, out of the craziness of the show.
