Miami Boat Show 2014

Looking forward to the show Thursday morning.
Weather looks good too....slumming it in SW Florida till then.
;)

Sitting on the plane in Dallas - on my way. Have some business in town tomorrow - then at the show thursday am. Not sure if it is Boat Show excitement - or warm weather anticipation!

Sitting north of the show....Haven't fully decided if I'm going to head down. Caterpillar did give me two tix so that's incentive.....

Here's a pict from last nights sunset.

Tonight it's 75f right now off the back of the boat.

Kind of bummed it will only be in the 70's back there. I was hoping for weather in the 80's!

It's still going to be a lot warmer than where we are coming from in Canada. We'll be there on Saturday.

This weather looks like it is going to lock down the east coast starting tomorrow afternoon... oh well... guess I still have my Sea Ray Living to read. oh wait... that's right... I don't get that.

Not too bad a drive to get further South is it? Atlanta is wonderful....ER....uh..... this time of year?

Geez...I just landed back at LaGuardia from West Palm Beach. When I left WPB it was 81 and the sun was just setting. When I landed in NY it was 19 and just dark and cold. It gets worse, tomorrow I fly to Boston where they are expecting 6-10" of new snow. I can't wait to land back in NY Friday and get home, get packed, get to JFK and fly to Miami. MIBS here I come....not soon enough. John, I'll give you a call Monday or Tuesday after we get to Key Largo.

Okay. I'm in with my dad. Where are we at with the CSR meeting? We are there Thursday thru Sat morning. Would love the chance to connect with some others from ClubSeaRay...

In town. Hitting convention Center on Thursday - open to meeting up. Hit me with a pm if you are at the show - will respond with cell $.

Friday morning moving over to brokerage show, there Friday and Sat.

Heading out today. 4 free tix for us (from Cruisers) for both Thursday and Friday. Hoping to say hi to Rusty!

Assuming I can buy tickets onsite in the morning, is that correct? Or do I have to buy in advance?

You can buy there but, advance was a few bucks cheaper....
I happily scored 6 free passes good everyday (not Sea Ray) to make it nice.

If anyone still needs passes, let me know via email (matt.guilford@brunswick.com) with "Miami Tickets" in the subject line and I can have them at will call at the convention center. Sea Ray will be the largest boat manufacturer display there. Note that Sea Rays 47 feet and up are in the Collins Avenue display (ramp 37) which doesn't have an admission charge.

Just don't let Matt send them to you... It would be like him sending you a copy of SR Living... You'll get them in August.

We are officially out. Airline cancelled our flights for tomorrow morning and spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get down to any airport in Florida... no luck... I can get in by Saturday night but have to leave Sunday so what's the point.

Made my wife cry... What can I say?

I'm pissed right now. Been planning on the trip for a long time and boom. Maybe I'm just not supposed to look at new boats... I'll just stay home and read my last issue of SR Living.
