http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40628497..... I guess they forgot to put the crew up on the roof with the snow shovels!

The FOX crew had cameras in the dome when it collapsed. Pretty scary stuff. They moved the game to Detroit on Monday night. Sucks for us season ticket holders. They might not even be able to play next Monday against the bears. I just finished snow blowing my driveway for the third time in two days and the temp was below zero without the wind chill.
Will someone please post some pics of the sun and their boat. I am really grumpy.

That's what they get for calling it a metrodoom

At least I got to watch Aaron Rogers get knocked out of the game.

I'm suprised the building does not have some kind of snow melt system for big snow falls. How hard would it be to blow warm air through the teflon membrane so the snow does not build up during storms.

They spent yesterday overheating the dome as well as hosing down the outside with hot water to melt off the snow as it fell. The main problem was the rapid drop in temperature. This morning it was well below zero.

The roof is 30 years old and that Teflon can't be as strong as it was when new.

Pretty hard. A lot of BTU's to melt snow. Plus add a lot of BTUs lost to convection cooling of the wind blowing on the roof.

Sorry to hear about your stadium. I guess the team isn't the only thing in the crapper this year for Minn.

Hey, just some friendly bean grinding. Really glad no one was hurt and yes Aaron will live to play another game.

Repairing the dome will cost about as much as the repairs to all these airplanes at Dulles when the roof collapsed on a hanger. Jets are standing at attention.

Wow! How much damage did that do to those planes?

These pics are from Santa Cruz yesterday. People in shorts, some without shirts and playing beach volleyball. It was beautiful and made me really want my boat out there... oh wait, I don't have one!

Yep our dome fell apart about as much as the Packers did today. At least the Bears stayed at home today too.

I know I'm a little sensitive but I do have dual Minnesota/ Wisconsin citizenship but I have rooted for the Vikes my whole life. Probably just to get under my dads skin. I always say I am a true Vikings fan- I expect to be disappointed.

Spoken like a true fan. GB was terrible and Detroit did not play that good of ball but a W in their column is what counts. My wife is a Bears fan all her life so the BG/Bears games are always fun at our house.

I watched Brett play from his first season. One of the best to play the game even at his age. He plays best when the coaching staff just gives him concept of plays and they let him work out the details on the field

This happened last winter during the first snow fall of 2009 if I remember correctly. Damge to 6 jets range from smashed tails sections to bent airframes. Can you imagine walking in and seeing your baby showing it's underbelly?
