Met another Local CSR Member out on the water.

I always get a kick out of running into CSR folks out on the water. We took Carpe Diem for a Delta overnighter and dingied from the guest dock out to a popular anchorage to visit Freinds weekending on the hook.
I noticed a really pretty Rinker anchored nearby and being a previous Rinker owner, I dinked over to say hi. After explaining my past Rinker ownership the guy said he used to be a SeaRay guy. I said ‘wait, are you Dan W from CSR?’ He replied yes I am. I remember his discussion on the forum when he was considering his going Rinker. He, his wife and I spent 45 minutes visiting before I was summoned back to the raft up by my bride who was ready to return to the Mothership. I hope to run into Dan and his wife in the future and perhaps a few more of you Nor Cal CSR folks someday too.

How ironic.... Back when I lived in the Sacramento area we kept 2 different boats at Oxbow Marina in Isleton for over 10 years. Dan and his wife started at Oxbow and had a 340da as we did. They moved to Willow Berm Marina and we moved up to a 52' Cockpit Motor Yacht staying at Oxbow. We would see Dan and his wife from time-to-time in the Delta and we still occasionally communicate via this forum.
