Mercury NMEA2000 Gateway Part #8M0065208 that allows you to push the engine info out from the Smartcraft system to your NMEA2000 network and get the info onto your MFD. Works great, I used it to push the info to my Raymarine E95. The new Vesselview has a NMEA2000 connection built in so no need for the gateway anymore. I paid $370 last spring.

Does the gateway plug into the junction box at the helm? What other connections might be needed to connect it to the MFD? (I have an e-80 classic)

On my boat it plugged into the smartcraft junction box under the helm. There was an open port. I then had to add an adaptor to get it from NMEA2000 to seatalkNG which is Raymarine's version of NMEA2000. The adaptor plugged into the NMEA2000 port on the gateway and then into my seatalkNG network that I had created to connect my e95 and i70 displays. The biggest reason I wanted the gateway was to get the depth to readout onto my i70 display that I replaced the speedo with as I always found the little readout on the systemview to be too small.
