Hello everyone, I want to share with you my experience
After having the boat stopped in a dry storage for a month when I want to start it and I had 2 beeps alarm every minute on my 2006 Mercruiser 5.0 MPI with 300 hours.
After reading several posts I thought it could be the IAC valve, I changed it but the problem continued, finally before continuing to change parts I got a mechanic who charged me $ 100 for connecting me to the scanner. the Fault indicated was 37 Sea Pump block Pressure Low, all the instruments had normal reading so everything indicated that it would be the sensor and it was...., bought one for $30 dollars and it is working perfect !!! Water Pressure Sensor Replacement Part # 8M6000623 Took me less than 10 minutes to replace it. Finally, before you change it, I suggest cleaning it, because my old one seems to be obstructed, and from what I read, it is common to happen when you are Boating in shallow water and salt water.
Greetings to all
