Mercruiser 496 Mag MPI-DTS Not Engaging Gears

I have a 2008 Sea Ray 270 SLX with the Mercruiser 496 Mag. I have the DTS throttle and shifter. The throttle works but the shifter does not engage to put in gear. I have checked the DTS fuse and replaced the battery and still no go.

Any experience with a solution to this problem?

Can you see the actuator move the shift cable arm when you shift into forward or reverse?

If the actuator moves and it won’t go into gear, I would suspect a problem with the shift cable, maybe it broke inside the outdrive.

Mechanic says he can manually put into gear and that there are some relays and wires not connected. He is looking for schematics for the wiring. Any ideas on schematics?
