Max Speed Issues

I just had another look at this thread. Highslice, flflatrate and others have offered some good advice regarding the boat, trim tabs and trim. It sounds like you did not get an orientation ride. As far as the tabs are concerned, press the up arrows (bottom of the rocker switch or pads) to raise the tabs all the way so you can achieve top speed. The tabs can move in up or down in unison or individually. Do not try to raise one and lower the other simultaneously. You'll blow a fuse. Also, if you haven't tried, see what your top speed is with the exhaust in the open position as you might pick up a mph or so. Do not try switching back in forth while going much faster than a fast idle. Your manual should have some info. in this regard.
