Marine Weather Links - Northern Lake Michigan

A while back I set up a web page that is a compilation of useful links for Northern Lake Michigan marine weather. I have the page piggybacked off my wife’s web site (thanks honey).

The links include local radar, open water forecast, near shore forecast, links to mid-lake buoys, etc. Idea was to have a sort of one-stop shopping for useful links and a page that can load fairly quickly.

Anyway, thought I would share.

Many thanks. Five boats leave Racine on 7/7 -- Sheboygan--Pentwater--Frankfort--Petoskey--Leland--Ludington--Port Washington Racine 7/19.
We will be watching wind and wave here!!

bliss, sounds like a good trip. Not sure where you are staying in Frankfort but Jacobson's now have (free) wireless internet - just fyi. We are on the north wall there.

Since we cross the lake a lot another source we use often is the dial-a-bouy.

Call 888-701-8992 and enter the 5 digit station ID and you get current conditions.

Lake Michigan stations are

45002 - North Lake MI

45007 - South Lake MI

All station IDs are available at http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/
