I just installed a new
Kenwood KMR-M322BT Marine Media Receiver in my 330DA. My range to connect to my iphone is limited due to the install being in the cabin and at time cuts out. Has anyone had any experience using an extender/repeater so we can sit on the bow or the aft lounge and still manipulate the media? If so which ones to people have experience with and where do you install it in the boat? Thanks!

Not an answer, but I leave my iPhone at the helm or in the cabin to reach the Bluetooth, then I use my Apple Watch as a remote to control the volume and next/back, and selecting new songs. They are not that expensive, and extremely easy to use (simply rotate the crown to increase/decrease volume) and useful for many other things, and waterproof to boot, salt water as well. Works if the watch is on the bow, or on the swim platform, or if I’m in the water...

Also not an extender. I have an old phone in the cabin connected to it and to WiFi and use Spotify. Outside I just have my phone connected to the same Spotify account, so I can manage what’s playing remotely.

i use this one and it works well.....i have it installed under the sink in the head compartment....we have a GFI outlet there that is never used for anything else...
