I put a small bottle of green Stabil in my tank that was less than 1/4 full. I probably ran it 30 minutes or so before the haul out.
My final step in the winterizing process was to pull the plugs, spray in fogging oil and spin the engine (MPI).
When I removed the plugs, they were quite clean - only 50 hours on them, but they were slightly sticky, like a dry tacky film was on them. I can't recall, but they may have even had the slightest green tint over the light brown normal color.
Does Stabil coat like this? If so, I think you could probably skip the fogging all together. With an MPI, I am limited to the fuel filter method, manually fogging cylinders, or an additive.
