Marine Max Somerspoint NJ

so I had my boat shipped up from Stuart Fla, use the Marine Max due to them being the Sea Ray dealer, they did a horrible job of taking the top off the boat, and somehow broke my S knob on throttle. So they sent me a new shifter, had the Somerspoint MM install, I take her home, then the next day go to the marina go to put the S motor in Rev and it throughs an alarm. MM shows up with there computer and tells me the brain went and going to cost me $2,450.00 plus labor. Just seems way to convenient that they change the handle and now it’s a $2,450 job
Anyone ever hear of this?

Haven't heard of that particular problem. Sounds like boat owning to me.
