I just bought a 1985 39 express,I was wondering if anybody had any copies of manuals for this boat learning a lot and a lot yet to learn. Having trouble with steering right now and a manual would be nice, and where to find the things that need to be fixed. thanks any help is deeply welcome.

what type of steering ?mechanical, hyd, cable?

Sorry i should of put out more info yes it is Hyd. looking for the reservoir and do you have bleed the system any help would be so helpful.

now you need to tell us why type of hyd steering it is.If its a sea star the pump is helm mounted and the fill plug is on top. bleeders are mounted on the cylincer itself.
The other type is a cannistor mounted below deck and needs to be oil filled and pressurized

thanks for the info boat is 200 miles away so untill Tuesday i will have to wonder and thanks again this gives me some starting points. Will get back next week.
