Hello, I have the 2005 550 Sedan Bridge with MANN engines. The data cable going from the black box in the engine room marked X15 to the display in the helm is not working on the port engine. I narrowed it down to the cable by switching the starboard cable and it worked. So I am fairly certain it is the cable and not the display. Is there a item or a good contact on purchasing a new cable? Thank you.

I recently read about a place the refurbs the displays. I think they’re in Fla, but I don’t remember the name of the business. They might be a good resource for cables too? MAN has just 1 “N”

I am very near Webster. As in 5 minutes if you need me to make a run just say so.

Thank you for the feed back, I will give them a call Monday morning. As far as running over to Webster, I will let you know and I really appreciate the offer. Bob

Performance Diesel has been a great resource. Lucas Stewart is the Service Manager (Houston)(lstewart@performancediesel.com). They also have a North Carolina shop. They are a direct branch, for parts contact Brian (bostrowski@performancediesel.com).

If Performance Diesel can't help, the displays are made & supplied by Boening. Luiz Barbarini (luiz.barbarini@boening.com) may be able to help.

Thank you again, just spoke to Performance Diesel and they do have the cable. They only stock a 20 Meter cable which is longer then I need but I am just happy I have a source. Brett, thank you for the direct emails as well.

Ok I received the new cable from performance diesel and ran the cable to the monitor, I am still getting a fault reading and monitor still not working. Is there a reset somewhere or am I missing something? If I switch wires starboard to port the monitor works. Any help would be appreciated.
