probably a silly question... but can someone tell me how to turn the macerator on on my 330? I turned on the switch on the main panel but nothing happened. Should I hear the pump run, or is there another switch I don't know about. Or maybe it's broke .

If it was like my 260 - you have to have the valve open and then hold the key in the on position. It doesn't stay on automatically.

Some boats have a wire (switch) on the thru-hull valve that kills the pump if the valve is closed. When you open the valve, it allows the pump to run, when you press the button or turn the key. If the pump runs, you should be able to see the 12 volt amp meter move on the panel back and forth as the pump cycles.

Not sure how your rig is set up but on mine there are two switches that have to be turned on. First, the "head system" switch on the main electrical panel, then second, the key switch needs to be turned on the panel located in the lavatory.

and you have to hold that key in "start" position :)

I can't find any other switches or keys , only the breaker switch in the main box near the galley. When I turn that on nothing happens, no noise no nothing:huh:

This is probably when we need a pic of your control panel. Then, someone with the same setup can help out.

I looked in my owners manual and there is a reference to another manual that I don't seem to have. Sorry!

We have a switch on the seacock that blocks the macerator unless the seacock is open.
