Lowrance 3500 depth sounder transducer location

1998 215 EC - Anyone know where depth finder transducer would typically be installed on this boat? There is a transom mounted transducer but I believe it's for the old Humminbird fishfinder. One of manuals I have indicates factory optional Lowrance 3500 would have a thru hull type transducer but I have not located.

Correct. Roughly under the engine. You can also see it when looking underneath the boat hull as a flat, black disc.

They were discontinued a long, long time ago.

People have been asking that same question for well over 10 years on this site.... chances of finding one are about as close to zero as they get. But, sure, you can look around ask for another 10 years
