Lower unit paint?

Any recommended primer and or paint to use on a merc I lower unit? Any advice from experience painting one appreciated. Need to freshen one up.

KY,

Basically, if when you sand it you don't reach bare aluminum, you can just recoat with Merc Phantom Black (or other brands). If you get down to bare, you need Merc Grey primer (or a zinc phosphate primer). Stick with the same brand of primer/topcoat.
