Low water flow on forward a/c

That's awesome, Steve!

I hear flushing your AC systems while down in FL is a must about 3 times per year. My boat came from there, and I could have started an oyster farm with how many little mussels were in there. It took me a while to flush everything out. Even now, I'll drain the water in my strainer, fill with barnacle buster and send through the system from time to time just for good measure.

Another tip...make sure you get all those critters you flushed out, as they stink to high heaven! Now would also be a good time to make sure your condensate drains are clear as well.

Cheers!

Something else I need to worry about

Holy smokes this boat stuff is fantastic!

How much Barnacle Buster do you use to do both units?

I've had a gallon for over a year and dont go through it that much. I used about a half gallon to circulate through the units last fall.

I now just stuck the water out of the strainer and fill the strainer with barnacle buster. Leave it sit for a few minutes, and then turn on the pump. It dilutes our all three lines.

Not what is required to clean out a clogged line, but makes me feel like I am keeping them clean.
