Low profile tires

I tried the spray on stuff but any effect it had washed away. Think the slicks scared me for fear I would scratch the hull. Did add a couple rollers on the centerline.
Susan is just negative on outboards, Glad I did not buy a new 200 hp Chapperal or Glassply although a V-6 OB on a 20' hull would suit me. So now I have 2 boats and just have to get out in them.

Don’t worry about scratching the hull. Besides, nobody will see it anyway. The real scratches come when the bunks are so slick the boat falls right off the trailer.

Is there such a thing as air bagging a trailer just a thought. I'm sure you could remove the springs install bump stops and put air bags on it .

The hitch extender has a lot of merit. I had one for small sail boat with a short keel that I used to own. It was the only way to get it deep enough launch without drowning the tow vehicle. I don't recall the exact setup, but I think it slid into a separate tube on the frame. Gave me about 10 extra feet.

Of course it all depends on the depth of the water, angle of the ramp, and length of the ramp. If there's not enough ramp it still won't work.

I would be worried about a low profile tire on a tandem axel trailer. That back axel scrubbing might just pop the bead. And that could ruin a day real quick. Or just carry starter fluid and a lighter to put it back together. Seen it on them enterwebs, on one of them you tube videos once. Put that tire bock on the wheel and trimmed the front of the guys mullet nicely.
