So, I finally sold the old starcraft and truck, now I can bring the Sundeck home from the shop where its been all winter. Before I can park it beside my house I need to shorten a chain link fence by 4 feet or so. Not wanting to lose the tension on the fence I decide to put a new post in where I want it to end, attach the fencing and then cut off the extra. So this morning I dig a hole, put the new post in and mix up some concrete and fill er up, tomorrow I can attach the fence and bring her home before a truck or forklift finds its way into my boat. I walk out of the garage at about 3pm and see dad wrestling a post out of the ground, I say " what are you doing to my post? " to which im told " it wasn't attached to anything, I dont know why it was there" The concrete was still soft enough to move but far too cured to coax baclk into place. I guess I get to do it again tomorrow after work.
Thanks Dad, love ya but keep your hands off my.......

Years ago my Father-in-law used to stay with us for 4-6 months of the year. We had a very nice back yard with lots of trees. We had a spa in a deck with great fir trees that had branches that came right down to the deck and made this beautiful, naturally secluded area for au natural spa use....when he wasn't there.

I came home from work one day and he proudly told me he cut off all of the low hanging branches around the spa to, "....open things up a bit." Took him to the airport the next day.

Well said. I absolutely adore my inlaws. My FIL has taught me many things and I consider him a true friend. (No matter how good of a friend you have in your FIL, he does not want to hear about how/where you and your wife did/do the deed. I made that mistake in my younger years.)

Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, made a great daughter too. We even built a full suite in our house for him after his wife passed. He is 89 and fully active, likes to have hands in eberything, like when I drilled though some wires in the wall putting a pool table light up, he started flicking switches to see if the other lights worked, I might have yelled at him to stop. Got my post in, again with a big note on it. DON'T TOUCH POST, NOT EVEN TO SEE WHY!!!! Enjoying a beer on the deck now, looking at the lake thats calling me, Its gotta be 22c on mdeck right now, spring has come to the Okanagan
Added : By the way, my oldest daughter is getting married in August, Im sure my time will come.

Not interested in the 2, but 33 and 35 sound interesting, not sure Karen would go for it, but I would. A little harem never hurt no one. Hmm, dont know if I could afford 3, on second thought, I quite love my life just the way it is. Im pretty stress free.
Have you tried craigslist?

Cool, some people would take it the wrong way on here.

That was 2 Fathers-in-law ago. Now on wife #3. We lost her father 2 years ago and I miss him. He was a good friend. And I have 2 daughters as well. Neither married yet.
