I have seen old blogs about this, but no answers as to where this noise is coming from and how to eliminate it.
I have a 2007 SR 340 Sundancer, 8.1 Horizon V-Drives...approx 500 hours.
When I am in 1.5 ft + choppy waters with waves hitting the forward hull on the port side, I hear a loud "crack" coming from the area of the port side dash in the cockpit. This is super loud and is not normal. It is not coming from the sliding door or loose gear. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this and if you have found a solution.
