“Lost Engine Communication”
2014 SeaRay 300 Sundeck 8.2L Mag
Boat always worked great…Sunday I turned the key on…no busser… not a sound when I pressed the start button, but this error . “LOST ENGINE COMM” All accessories work but not the trim.
I installed new batteries 3 days earlier, checked: main 50 amp breaker, the 4 fuse bundle beside it, breaker & fuse on the batteries.
Mercury tech came…..thinks ECM needs to be replaced.
On Saturday night we had a lightning storm… would lightning blow out my computer??? There was no damage anywhere & no other boats in the area were affected.
A real mystery.
Any ideas?????? HELP
