Another thread reminded me that my starboard shifter seems to not want to stay in a position just above idle but less advanced than "wake causing" speed.
Shifts smooth and good but if I want to go at a faster clip but still below wake speed I need to sometimes hold that shifter in place. Generally just about 1000 rpms. Otherwise, it will snap back to idle speed.
How do I tighten it up a little bit? Not much because it feels fine otherwise. I pulled the cover and saw no adjustment screws.
