Looking to explore Lake Marion & Lake Moultrie

Howdy,

My wife & I are looking to retire in SC around Oct - Dec of

2011. We definitely want to live on the water and are

considering either Lake Marion or Lake Moultrie. We have

choosen these two fresh water lakes as they both have ICW

access.

If a CSR member could give us a few hours and take us out

on these lakes it would be greatly appreciated, as we could get

to see the area by water!

We will be in Myrtle Beach between Sept 18 - 24th 2010.

We live on the water here on Long Island, NY & have been

boaters for the past 25 years. We are your average people

who are members of our local Power Squadron & enjoy gather-

ing with with friends & family every weekend on the water.

Thanks for considering our proposal. We own a condo in MB

on the ocean (17th floor) and could barter our day with you

for a day at Beach Colony Resort!

Welcome to the south! We have a boating club called CAROLINA BOATERS. A group of people around SC, NC, & GA that get together all the time and boat the ICW and area lakes. We also have a FACEBOOK page. We can hook you up. One of our group members boats on Marian & Moultrie all the time. ONe thing about those two lakes if you did not know: You have to stay in the marked channel all the time or you will have a tree come through the bottom of your hull.
