looking to buy 460 Sundancer

I'm planning to buy a 460 dancer between the years 1999 and 2002. I'd like to find out what I need to look out for especially with the engines. They all seem to be around a 1000 hours. What is the better engine in fuel consumption and maintenance, CAT or Cummins? Any further recommendations/warnings?
