Looking for transducer location in 89 Sundancer 300

I'm sure I could eventually find it, but thought I would ask if anyone knows where the factory installed transducer is located on a 1989 Sundancer 300? Based on the spec guides I downloaded from SeaRay's website, it uses an "Inside Mount Transducer", but gives no indication as to its whereabouts.

Just bought a Lowrance HDS-5. I was hoping I could take advantage of the old transducer location to mount the new transducer for the new system. Anyone that's been down this road, I'd love your comments. Thanks All!

The existing transducer is mounted to the hull in the engine room just up from the keel, It looks like a small black hockey puck with wires coming out of the side. You will need a chisel and grinder to remove the old unit as it is epoxied to the hull. Probably better off mounting the new one alongside the old one.
