Looking for info, tips, suggestions on shade or camper top for 340DA

My wife can't take the sun like I can. Last year we rigged up and unbrella but it was useless. We are looking at doing just the top portion of a camper back but I can't see to design on that will fold out of the way so we can enclose the back on a rainy day. We were thinking a partial sun shade off the top maybe coming back 2 feet more but can't decide. Anyone build or buy anthing worth while?

Since a Camper package was not a factory option for your boat, one will have to be custom made. There was recently another thread that touched on this.

A transient came into our marina once with a 340 - He had the framework made for a camperback but no canvas - when he wanted shade he deployed the frame and draped his fastback canvas (his had no window) over it and had straps made up to clip the corners to the rear cleats - it was not as hokey as it sounds, it looked OK - I don't think he used it like that when underway
