My boat is in Dry Storage and I would like to add an auto retract feature to my tabs. I would like when I turn off the key the tabs retract. Is this possable?

I am afraid that I will forget to retract them and the fork lift will distroy them.

thanks

My boat is in dry storage too. You are correct, if you forget to retract them the forklift will destroy them - it happens all the time. Bennett makes an auto-retract device that I have on my boat. The cost of the device is much less than replacing even one tab.

John.

Phlorida is on target, the part number is AR512 and it is quite easy to install.

I have used the ATR 1989, and it is the single best addition I've made to my boats......takes up no panel space, mounts behind the panel, connects directly to the Bennett tab switch, a ground, a 12V constant and a 12V switched lead on the boat which are all easily located under the panel, and best of all, you just forget having to raise the tabs, ever; they never stay down.

Thanks guys that is on the list for November when I am bringing the boat home for a little winter R&R...
