Hi ,

I am looking for a Port Hull vent cover for a 1995 370DA Sundancer . I know they do not make it anymore but if someone knows how to get one are had one made I would like to find out about it.

Part # 777342

Thanks.....
Mike

Sorry, I was going to post the wrong thing. I just looked up the part and it is not the clamshell. Check the 370DA site, I think there was someone on there that had one made.

Someone here made a mold and cast his own. It has been a few years ago so you might search for it and find the t hread. If I am not mistaken he also ran a classified ad for the vents in case other 370DA owners needed one.

Good luck turing up something.

It was a fragile design. Make a new one for each side out of starboard. Better look and won't break.

Frank,

You may be thinking of Tony Clark who made vent covers for the 330. I don't recall the 370 guy but that wouldn't be the first time I missed something. I also had vent covers made by my fiberglass guy for my 330.

It isn't a fragile design as much as its in a bad place.........look at the part. It a fiberglass molded piece right at the transom corner and it is curved so I'd be interested in how you would make one out of Starboard.

Todd- I am sure it was a 370DA hull vent, but it was the port side that the CSR member made the mold for. The OP gave us a part number, but the part number is for the stbd side. If he needs the port vent, it is 777334

Sorry I need the Stbd side Part Number is correct 777342

Mike,

I ended up borrowing someone else's cover. I then gave it to my fiberglass guy to make a mold from it. He then fabricated a new cover out of fiberglass from it. Maybe you could do the same? I talked to a plastics guy & the machining required to make a new cover was cost prohibitive. That's why I went with fiberglass.
